The Triple Pleat Blouse is one of Levi’s® oldest and earliest denim jacket styles from the late 1800’s. The original archival jacket that this reproduction is based on was worn by a miner, showing wear and abrasion from operating heavy machinery and carts. Its iconic pleats were designed to allow for expansion by clipping the threads. Made in a new 9oz Cone Mills plain loomstate denim, washed and distressed for an authentic look and feel. Goose Egg finish is a mid-to-light base shade, with areas of sun-fading, damage, and repair. The pockets have a rounded bottom, with sewn-on, branded metal buttons. Three pleats either side of center front, cinch at center-back and leather patch on center-back waistband.
